Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) at Space Email

Step 1: Activate 2FA

Log in to your Space Email → Tap Settings → Tap “Multi Factor Authentication

Tip: If the Multi Factor option does not appear, it means you did not opt for it at the time of signing up. Just ask Support to activate it for you, and the option will start to show in your Settings.

Step 2: Configure 2FA

1. Tap “Add Authentication”
2. A QR code appears with a name field and verification field.
3. Name your token (e.g., “iPhone 14”) for easy reference. 
4. Open your authenticator app, scan the QR code or enter the verification code.
5. Click Save – 2FA is now active for your account.

✅ Next login will require an authentication code.

📸 Important: Take a screenshot or print the QR code for backup.

If you ever need to disable 2FA, simply uncheck the same box, enter your 2FA code, and submit.

Step 3: Logging in with 2FA

1. Enter your username and password in Space Email.
2. If 2FA is deployed, Space Email will refuse access unless you enter the 2FA code from your authentication app.
3. Open your authenticator app and get the 6-digit code. Enter it in Space Email.
4. You are now authenticated and logged in.
